Enterprise Knowledge

Give AI the business context no single system contains.

Enterprise Knowledge turns fragmented enterprise information into reusable business meaning for AI.

It provides a common business model: what entities exist, how they relate, which system is authoritative and which approved business actions AI may use. Each model supports a defined business outcome. Existing applications remain the systems of record.

Why it matters

AI needs meaning — not another copy of enterprise data.

Traditional integrations expose system objects. Search systems find relevant content. Neither responsibility alone creates a reusable business model.

A customer may appear as an account in one system, a company in another, and a collection of contracts, documents, cases, invoices and projects elsewhere. Access does not explain how they relate, which source is authoritative or what applies to the work.

Enterprise Knowledge connects what the business already knows without making one application or AI interface the owner of that meaning.

Stop rebuilding how the business connects

One reusable Business Context Map.

Without a shared business model, each AI solution has to rediscover or recreate how business information fits together. Teams may encode that navigation in orchestration, workflows, prompts or agent instructions, or expose many tools and ask the AI model to reason through them at runtime.

AI Fabrix creates a Business Context Map from the approved business entities and relationships defined across connected enterprise systems. The map makes that structure reusable by Role Assistants and approved AI interfaces instead of reconstructing the same navigation for every business process.

The Business Context Map does not copy ownership away from those systems and does not grant access. Existing applications remain authoritative. Operational Trust determines which connected context the current person and Business Role may use.

Connect and define the business once. Reuse that context across AI use cases.

Describe the business once

Three parts of one shared business model.

AI may help draft these definitions. People remain responsible for validating their meaning. An authorised enterprise owner, such as the responsible business owner, validates and releases a definition before it becomes available for reuse.

What the business means

The entities that exist and the business relationships between them.

Where truth comes from

The authoritative sources, rules and Dimensions that apply. Dimensions are governed business boundaries — such as region, legal entity or business unit — that constrain resources, relationships and scope consistently across systems.

What AI may use

Approved definitions and governed operations expressed as business actions rather than raw vendor APIs.

Describe, validate and reuse — rather than recode business meaning for every AI initiative.

Connect information across systems

A technical link is not a business relationship.

A foreign key shows that two records are linked. It does not explain what the relationship means, which source owns the fact or which permissions apply when records are combined.

Enterprise Knowledge makes cross-system relationships explicit and uses them to build the Business Context Map. When a system changes, its technical mapping can change without redefining the customer, agreement or project for every AI use case.

These relationships connect records held in different applications without making any one application the owner of the complete customer meaning.

Business Context Map
Customer has Contacts
Customer owns Agreements
Customer has open Cases
Customer owes Invoices
Customer is assigned to an Owner
Supply only applicable context

Relevant and authoritative is not the same as permitted.

Enterprise Knowledge defines what is relevant and authoritative for the active customer, agreement, project or case. It helps resolve the applicable source, version, relationship and business rule.

Whether that relevant context may be shown to a person for the current work is determined by Operational Trust.

Smart RAG

Smart RAG combines semantic relevance with business metadata. It narrows retrieval to content belonging to the correct business context, while Operational Trust limits what may be supplied to the active person and case.

A renewal assistant can retrieve the current agreement and applicable policy for the correct customer instead of relying on text similarity alone.

Viewpoints

A Viewpoint is a predefined, certified, read-only business picture — for example, revenue by customer or actual cost by cost centre. It is calculated when used under Operational Trust, while the underlying systems remain authoritative.

It gives a Role Assistant an approved perspective without creating a second reporting warehouse or system of record.

Governed business capabilities

Approved business actions — not raw APIs.

Enterprise Knowledge describes approved business operations in language AI can understand. This keeps business meaning stable even when the underlying application or technical mapping changes.

Enterprise Knowledge

Defines the capability and its business meaning.

Operational Trust

Determines whether the current person and work may use it.

Enterprise Runtime

Owns execution. The connected application remains authoritative for the resulting transaction.

What becomes reusable

The first use case creates value. The next starts further ahead.

For customer renewal, the organisation establishes approved customer and agreement definitions, relationships to contacts, cases, invoices and documents, authoritative pricing and policy sources, applicable Dimensions and governed operations.

Those approved entities and relationships become reusable through the Business Context Map. Each later solution still validates its own role, scope, operations and Evidence requirements.

Renewal Assistant

Uses the definitions for one outcome.

Service Assistant

Reuses approved customer relationships for an escalation.

Finance Assistant

Reuses agreement and invoice meaning for a credit review.

Responsibility boundary

What Enterprise Knowledge does not own.

It supplies reusable organisational understanding. Operational Trust applies authority, Role Assistants use the context for defined work, and Evidence Fabrix preserves validated operational learning and proof.

Replace systems of record
Grant organisational authority
Decide whether a particular operation may proceed
Turn every relevant document into permitted context
Make model output operational truth
Replace Enterprise Runtime
Treat conversation history as governed organisational knowledge
Business value

Business meaning that survives system and AI change.

Stop rebuilding business context

Create the Business Context Map once from approved entities and relationships, then reuse it across Role Assistants and AI interfaces.

Reduce runtime discovery

Give AI reusable knowledge of how business information connects instead of making every task rediscover the same navigation across tools and systems.

Preserve meaning through change

Update a system mapping without redefining the business concept for every AI use case.

Keep technology replaceable

Preserve source-system authority while the reusable business model remains independent of one application or AI interface.

AI should not have to rediscover how the business works in every conversation.
